Details: We will have an Easter egg hunt outside that will start right at 7:00 pm (before it gets dark). There will also be some Easter Egg dying and decorating, and some Easter themed snacks to eat.

Bring: Feel free to bring snacks or drinks to share.

Monday Nights will remain the same with the two groups to choose from:

• NORTH: Mondays @ 7:30pm at 1659 Mohican Road Stow 44224 led by Robert (robert.krisch@gmail.com) and Chrissanna (gatorprincess@gmail.com).
• EAST: Mondays @ 7:30pm at 3677 Curtis St Mogadore 44260 led by Adam (adam.smith356@gmail.com) and Sara (saraewester@gmail.com).

These groups will begin meeting again on Monday, January 11, 2010.

Tuesday and Wednesday Night groups have been combined to make a new group:

• SOUTH: Tuesdays @ 7:30pm at 3217 Mayfair Rd Akron 44312 (near the Green Campus) led by David and Rachel (rachel.peteya@the-chapel.org).

This group will begin meeting Tuesday January 19th.

So pick a day, time, or location that fits with you best and join a group!

The 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Party will be hosted at the East house in Mogadore (3677 Curtis St, Mogadore 44260). We’ll have games, Guitar Band, and plain conversational enjoyment. We’re even putting a twist on the night! (But you’ll have to come to find out what it is!)

If your last name begins with ___ please bring ____.

A-G: some sort of fruit or vegetable (dish, tray, etc.)
H-M: some sort of munchie (chips, chex mix, trail mix, pretzels etc.)
N-T: some sort of beverage (pop, water, juice, etc.)
U-Z: some sort of dessert (chocolate, cookies, candy, etc.)

Variety Show acts are being accepted until December 11th.  Email melinda.yoho@gmail.com with:

1) the title of the sketch
2) length of the sketch (not to exceed 10 minutes)
3) short description of sketch’s content–a paragraph or so
4) cast list
5) any media (sound, film, pyrotechnics, etc)

This can be funny, serious, demonstration of talent, a skit, whatever you wish to share.

On Friday September 4th, we will leave The Chapel’s Green Campus parking lot at 6pm and drive down to Pleasant Hill Outdoor Center to spend the weekend mountain biking, canoeing, swimming, talking about God, and spending some time as a community.

We will return by 4pm on Sunday September 6th, in time for you to enjoy (and recooperate for) Labor Day.

Cost is $50 which covers transportation, meals, your stay, and all activities.

Packing List:

• clothes for the weekend (weather.com predicts high 70s, sunny) including clothes for mountain biking, canoeing, swimming, and sleeping
• sleeping bag, pillow
• toiletries (showers available)
• Bible, journal, pen
• flashlight
• games/frisbee and likewise for down time

Our three small groups will continue to meet through June and July:

• Monday nights at 7:30pm near the University of Akron
• Tuesday nights at 7:00pm in North Canton
• Wednesday nights at 7:30pm near the Chapel Hill mall

We’ll take August off and restart fresh in September!
